The goal of this blog is to share information about writing that challenges our sense of insularity. Too often, we only read what we know, what we are familiar with.
My goal is to question the culture in our writing and reading. I hope to point readers to fiction and non-fiction from other cultures -- writing in translation, writing in English by authors from various cultures, and writing about other cultures.
